Wir suchen engagierte Talente für unser Operations Team. Tausende von virtuellen Servern werden täglich auf unserer Plattform erstellt mit dem Ziel, unsere Services kontinuierlich auf das nächste Level zu heben. Werde Teil eines starken Teams, das sowohl in remote innerhalb Deutschlands als auch von unserem Büro in München (Unterföhring) aus unsere Skalierungsherausforderungen meistert, und wachse an spannenden Aufgaben!
Deine Aufgaben
Als Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) arbeitest du direkt am Herzen unserer Infrastruktur, die du mit deinem Wissen und deinen Ideen verbesserst. Du weißt, wie wichtig Automatisierung bei komplexen und verteilten Systemen ist und hast Spaß daran, diese zu implementieren und zu betreiben. Darüber hinaus beinhaltet diese Stelle eine Bereitschaftsrotation zur zuverlässigen Aufrechterhaltung des Dienstes. Was erwarten wir dafür konkret von dir?

  • Als Senior unseres Operations Teams bringst du tiefgreifendes Verständnis für Kubernetes mit und entwickelst unsere produktive Kubernetes Plattform weiter.
  • Du sorgst dafür, dass unsere Services zuverlässig laufen.
  • Du legst Wert auf agiles Arbeiten, weißt deine Freiheiten gut zu nutzen und bringst dich selbst mit Ideen ein.
  • Das Wissen aus deiner langjährigen Berufserfahrung setzt du für das Team ein und hilfst dabei, die Teammitglieder technisch anzuleiten.

Folgendes erfordert eine Position als Senior Engineer (m/w/d) im Team Operations aus unserer Sicht:

  • Sehr gute Linux Kenntnisse
  • Betrieb von Kubernetes Infrastruktur auf (HA) Bare Metal Servern
  • Gute Netzwerk Kenntnisse, vor allem Kubernetes CNIs (Cilium, BGP von Vorteil)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Flux)
  • Erfahrung mit CI/CD Umgebungen von Vorteil
  • Begeisterung für Prometheus Metriken und Grafana Dashboards
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung im Betrieb von PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ und/oder Kafka
  • Programmierkenntnisse in Python/Go/Bash von Vorteil
  • Solide verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse und gute Deutschkenntnisse

Deine Aufgaben
As infrastructure engineer (m/f/x), you will work at the heart of our infrastructure and improve it with your knowledge and your own ideas. You know how important automatization is in complex and distributed systems and you enjoy implementing and running them. This position involves on-call rotations to ensure the smooth operation of our services. Here’s what we will expect from you:

  • As senior engineer in our operations team, you have a thorough understanding of Kubernetes and you will further develop our productive Kubernetes platform.
  • You will ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • You value agile work, you know how to make the most of the freedom that is given to you, and you contribute your own ideas.
  • You will use your extensive knowledge from previous work experience for the team and help provide technical guidance to the team members.
Your profile
Do you almost match the job description but are still missing some skills? Would you still like to support our team in another way?   • Very good knowledge of Linux
  • Experience managing a Kubernetes infrastructure on (HA) bare metal servers
  • Good knowledge of networks, especially Kubernetes CNIs (ideally Cilium, BGP)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Flux)
  • Ideally, experience with CI/CD environments
  • Enthusiasm for and interest in Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards
  • Ideally, experience with running PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
  • Ideally, experience in programming in Python/Go/Bash
  • Sound, business-fluent knowledge of English and a good command of German
